Billing Schedule – garden city
Our clinics BULK BILL all patients that hold a current Medicare or DVA Card. For overseas students and those who do not have Medicare or DVA cards, please call our receptionists, who will be able to provide you with information about your options.
SKIN CHECK CONSULTATION FEES AT CARINDALE Our Skin Doctor bulk bills most of the current patients of our clinics, along with new patients who hold a concession card from Centrelink. If you are a new patient with no concession cards or other consultations that may require additional fees, the doctor and staff will be able to advise cost on your visit. We can assist you with on the spot claiming from Medicare. Please call one of our clinics for further information.
Appointment Booking – Garden city
10 minutes is regarded as a standard consultation in which one problem is addressed. If you feel more time with the Doctor may be required you are welcome to request a longer appointment. Inform our Receptionist who is trained to assist you.
Please call our receptionists if you need to add family members to your already scheduled appointments. Due to the nature of our booking, we request that you book separate appoints for all members of your family/extra patients.
Cancellation of non-needed appointments is expected and much appreciated.
Upon Arrival
Please present your current Medicare Card, Concession Card or DVA card at reception and inform the receptionist of any change of address and or phone numbers along with contact details for the emergency contact person. For all new patients, we ask that you fill out our New Patient Registration Form.
Emergencies are accessed promptly. Please inform our receptionist if you are in pain, distressed, bleeding, have a rash or allergic reaction, is in anaphylactic shock, or have been in an accident prior to arriving.
Interpreter Services
Languages: English, Mandarin Cantonese, Arabic, Tamil
An Interpreter can be arranged for your appointment if required. Please inform our Receptionist when you are making your booking. Alternatively, you may request assistance from a family or relative.
Results & Reports
Please make an appointment to obtain results and reports unless the Doctor instructs you otherwise. You will be contacted if results require urgent attention.
Phone Calls/Emails
If you wish to speak further with your doctor, it is best to make an appointment. Our reception staff is happy to take messages, however doctors getting back to you is not guaranteed.
