International Medical Graduates (IMGs) applying for limited registration or provisional registration may be required to undergo a Pre-Employment Structured Clinical Interview (PESCI). The information obtained from the PESCI is considered by the Medical Board when it decides whether to grant registration.
A PESCI is an objective assessment of your knowledge, skills, clinical experience and attributes to determine whether you are suitable to practise in a specific position. The PESCI consists of a structured clinical interview using scenarios.
Good Health Medical Centre in Conjunction with Oz-Recruitment will be offering PESCI Preparation workshop, this is a series of face to face classes done over a number of days. Our tutors conduct role plays and provide notes to prepare you for your Assessment.
There will be a Mock PESCI trial assessment during the workshop to assess your skills and provide feedback to assisting you in preparing for the main exam.
At the completion of this workshop students would have gained knowledge about PESCI assessment. Also, the participant will receive a certificate for attending the three day workshop.
The objective of the course is to provide students with detailed knowledge about PESCI assessment and increased confidence to sit for the Pre-employment Structural Clinical Interview.
